Dr Janet Wilson is a clinician specialising in STIs and HIV at Leeds, UK. Her main areas of clinical and research interest are the management of recurrent vaginal infections, infections in pregnancy, and the clinical application and cost-effectiveness of diagnostic tests for STIs.
She has been on the World Executive Committee of the International Union against Sexually Transmitted Infections (IUSTI) since 2007 and became the President of IUSTI in 2019.
She is a Past-President of the British Association for Sexual Health and HIV (BASHH) and is also co-author of several IUSTI and BASHH guidelines.
