Dr Benjamin Bopp

Ben has been a specialist Obstetrician Gynaecologist for more than 20 years and is currently the Director of Obstetrics at Gold Coast University Hospital. Previously, he worked as a generalist (obstetrics, gynaecology and IVF) in private practice.
Ben has been actively involved in range of RANZCOG Committees, including the Women’s Health Committee, Education Strategy Committee, Continuing Professional Development Committee, SIMG Assessment Committee and the Workforce Working Group.
Ben was elected President of RANZCOG in 2021 and has previously served as a RANZCOG Councillor since 2010 and Board Director since 2016.
