Professor Roopen Arya

Prof Roopen Arya is Clinical Director for Haematology at King’s College Hospital in London. He is Director of King’s Thrombosis Centre and Professor of Thrombosis and Haemostasis at King’s. He trained at Oxford and King’s College London. Prof Arya has a wide array of interests including venous thromboembolism, anticoagulation, thrombophilia in women’s health and the use of global coagulation assays to define bleeding and prothrombotic states. He is passionate about thrombosis research and advancing safety and quality of care through innovative and patient-centric approaches to thrombosis care. Prof Arya is the Director of the National VTE Exemplar Centres Network in England.
