Mr Ibby Younis
Ibby Younis is a consultant plastic surgeon. His practice is based in London, UK and he specialises in reconstructive and regenerative surgery with a focus on breast and abdominal wall reconstruction, body contouring and lipo-modelling. He is a past president of the plastic surgery section of the Royal Society of Medicine.
Ibby is passionate about salvage surgery for challenging and/or complex wounds. He is well known for ‘thinking outside of the box’ and for pairing innovative therapies, such as Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) with and without instillation (i-d), dermal templates, biological meshes and topical wound oxygen, to obtain the best functional and aesthetic outcomes for his patients. He is currently undertaking exciting clinical research and trials in this area.
Ibby is an international speaker on complex surgical wound management and is a regular faculty member for various European workshops. He sits on and chairs several wound advisory panels and is one of the authors of the recently published international consensus guidelines update on NPWT with instillation
